1. Home for HIV infected and affected children and woman.

Interventions with orphans and vulnerable children infected and affected by HIV/AIDS need to be intensified and scaled up by for wider  reach. In Ratnagiri there continues a dearth of child care institutions working with vulnerable children. The child care institutions working with infected children are not available at all. Orphans of HIV/AIDS are often neglected /unattended. Most of the children need a family-like environment and long to have a secure , supportive and child friendly environment. They are denied a care free childhood and love , care due to their sero-positive status.
       Prevalence of HIV infected children is higher.... Hence there is an urgent need to fous on the rights of these children and empower them to overcome their vulnerabilities.

PROJECT  GOAL :
To increase availability and accessibility of prevention , care and support  services to orphans and vulnerable children and women living with HIV/AIDS in crisis in Ratnagiri city.
